Family owned and operated since 1998, OakTree Supply started out with a single brick and mortar store serving the local Fort Wayne, Indiana woodworking community. Fast forward to 2014 and that’s where we come in. Under new ownership and a fresh perspective, we brought in all of the best woodworking tools and supplies on the market, expanded into the online retail space and began a journey to become the serious woodworker's go-to resource for tools, supplies and knowledge.

What we carry

As much as we wish it wasn’t, our retail and warehouse space is limited, so we have had to be incredibly picky when deciding which brands to carry. We’ve done our research, asked our fellow woodworkers and have taken our own experiences into account to curate a product line that, no matter what you buy from us, you can count on its quality. We focus on the specialty brands you can’t find at your local big-box store, so if you are looking for machinery that will stand the test of time and supplies that will live up to your high expectations, you’ll be glad you found us!

If you don’t see what you’re looking for while on our website or in our store, just ask! We can custom order any machinery, products or replacement parts from the brands we carry.

Meet Our Team

OakTree is led by a husband-and-wife duo. Logan handles the business side of things, while Amanda is in charge of the marketing department. Their daughter, Ashtyn, is often here and will help out when she's not doing school work or playing a game of hide-and-seek!

Logan

Logan is our General Manager. Whether you’ve called us to get more information on products, stopped by the store to shop, or purchased industrial machinery from us, you’ve likley talked to him. He also handles many of the daily operations like shipping and receiving, purchasing, industrial sales, product knowledge, and customer service.

Amanda

As our Marketing Manager, Amanda oversees all our marketing and advertising material. She collaborates with radio stations and other media organizations to get our name out to the public. While she is the head of the marketing department, she also handles daily operations alongside Logan, like shipping, receiving, and customer service.

Ashtyn

Ashtyn is a funny and quick-witted second grader who has basically grown up at OakTree. She likes to help mom and dad by talking to customers and scanning their items at the checkout counter. She's proud to even have her own register code! Outside of OakTree, she likes to play soccer and basketball, or anything outside and loves all things unicorn!

Aaron

Our Assistant store manager, Aaron helps customers with products and orders, stocks shelves, does receiving, cuts lumber, and many other things that help with our day-to-day operations. He specializes in guitar-making and is a certified luthier.

Sara

Sara is a copywriter with a teaching background. As the Product Information Specialist, she is responsible for putting products on our website. Sara also assists Amanda with emails, social media posts, and other marketing materials.

Fred

A turning master, Fred is one of our part-time associates who can tell you anything and everything about woodturning. He specializes in making spherical objects like bowls and vases, and has quite an impressive portfolio!

Mark

Mark is our other part-time associate who focuses on furniture building and epoxy. He has made some beautiful pieces like live edge tables and coffee tables, and probably owns or has purchased one of everything in the store.

Our U.S. headquarters (and let’s be honest, our only location) is in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but we ship anywhere in the contiguous United States.

If you’re coming to see us from north of Fort Wayne, take Highway 3 (Lima Road) south just past the light at Old Lima Road and turn into the first driveway on your right. Follow the road back until you see us.

If you’re heading up from Fort Wayne, take Highway 3 (Lima Road) north to the light at Old Lima Road. Turn onto Old Lima then turn left onto Plank Street. At the stop sign, make a left and follow the road to the end of the industrial park until you see us on the left.
