The Festool Protection Pad protects the sanding pad when using Granat Net or other abrasive net sandpapers. It keeps the sanding pad and fastener from wearing out quickly.
The Protection Pad can also be used in polishing. It protects the pad when applying a finish when using White Vlies.
The Granat Net abrasive is the perfect solution for sanding materials that produce a large amount of dust. The open net structure enables dust extraction across the entire surface for dust-less operation, a high material removal rate and a long service life of the abrasive. Resistant mesh structure with high tear resistance and edge stability for perfect results right down to the smallest detail, without scratches or rework. Easy positioning of the sanding disc on the pad since no hole pattern must be followed.
