Next Wave CNC Shark HD500 Plus

Built to handle larger 2.25hp routers with 3.5” barrel diameter (Makita or similar brand).

The Shark HD500 Plus is an upgraded version of the popular HD500 CNC. In addition to all of the standard features on the HD510, the Plus includes Next Wave CNC's latest technologically advanced 10.1" Touch Screen Display and a 2hp Water-Cooled Spindle.

The Android-based Touch Screen Display boasts features like:

• Multi Axis Homing
• Program restart anywhere inside the G-code
• Visual run time display for precise project monitoring
• On screen project display in real time
• Diagonal rapid movements
• On screen virtual zero point acceptance
• Higher processing speeds, reduces 3D carving times by up to 50%
• Internal file storage
• USB ports for direct connection of peripherals like keyboards, mouse, and flash drives

The Shark HD500 Plus features a 16” x 36” table, an extruded aluminum router mount for 3.5” barrel routers or Next Wave’s water-cooled spindle system, and robust linear gantry rails. It can be pendant or computer-controlled, and is perfect for projects such as carving plaques, signs, ornamental boxes, and precision parts machined from wood, soft metals, or plastics.

This CNC router offers 3D carving capability with a 3D model library included. It also offers two control options:

1. Using the included Vectric VCarve Desktop Design Software, you create your project and transfer it to a USB drive which plugs directly into the LCD pendant. The convenient touch screen Pendant interface eliminates the need for a computer controlling the CNC in your shop.
2. For more control interactivity, you can run the Shark HD500 Plus from your computer with the Ready2Control program. This lets you use the exclusive patented Virtual Zero Unlimited program.  This program will adjust your design to fit curves and angles that would be impossible on other brands of machines. (Computer and flash drive not included).

Also compatible with Next Wave's 2-Watt Laser and 7-Watt Laser.
