Tried & True Wood Finishes are made from all natural ingredients and are 100% solvent-free. These finishes leave a silky, satin sheen meant to highlight wood grain, so they’re ideal for antique furniture, wooden instruments, and all interior woodwork. They are also safe for food contact, making them excellent for countertops, butcher blocks, and cutting boards.

These finishes are based in a polymerized linseed oil system. Polymerization is a naturally occurring drying process where the oil solidifies and bonds with a wooden surface. Tried & True wood finishes are composed of 100% renewable ingredients coming from seeds, bees, and trees.

• Danish Oil (The Seeds)
  Tried & True Danish Oil is made from 100% pure, polymerized linseed oil. It is commonly applied to bare wood or overtop an existing stained piece. It will slightly darken the wood and can be combined with oil-based pigments to create wood stains.
• Original Wood Finish (The Bees)
  Original Wood Finish is a superior blend of oil and beeswax. It is commonly used by woodworking professionals for application to bare wood or to revive an already-stained piece to achieve a lower-gloss, antique sheen while providing long-lasting durability.
• Varnish Oil (The Trees)
  Varnish Oil is a penetrating linseed oil and natural pine resin finish ideal for high-quality interior applications. With excellent resistance to abrasions and scratches, professionals commonly use it on tabletops and countertops.
